FOR TODAY (January 12, 2009)...

Outside my window it is dark and looks very cold. I just saw my neighbor go by with his dog Bambi pulling him along. She is such a sweet dog. His daughter found her and he adopted the dog.

I am thinking that it's only 7:30PM, early evening but I am tired and I will be going to sleep soon.

I am thankful for getting through another day safe and sound.

From the kitchen all is quiet.

I am wearing pajamas bottoms a t-shirt and a sweater.

I am creating nothing this evening, I am pooped.

I am going to brush my teeth.

I am reading Book 3 of the Twilight Trilogy.

I am hoping to finish book 3 of the Twilight Trilogy this week and start book 4.

I am hearing the the washing machine beep and the TV.

Around the house I have done a load of washing and must go put it in the dryer.

One of my favorite things is cream of broccoli soup which I had for dinner.

A few plans for the rest of the week: Attending aerobic and yoga classes, work and hope to watch the movie "Slumdog Millionaire".

Here is picture thought I am sharing.

Hi Claudia;

I enjoyed reading your SWD entry. I was never a fan of vampire stories and could not get into the "Twilight" books or movie. Even Ann Rice's books weren't my type of reading which surprises me as I love fantasy, sci-fi and thrillers as long as there isn't vampires or zombies in them.. LOL!!

The cream of broccoli soup looks yummy. Have a great day. ~Hugs~

This is lovely, and new to me. I love the detail about the dog - heartwarming when people adopt pets who in turn are such blessings. I have not read any of those books but know several who are reading, including a couple of students. I didn't realize how thick they were, so they must be good. Loved reading your in the moment, so to speak.

Oh I do like it here! Love the idea, will take a further look. Do you use this one rather than your other place now?
I'm now reading the 4th Twilight book. Finding it a little difficult as it moves from Bella telling the story to Jacob (don't think I've given anything away there!). I've joined a Twilight group on Facebook and been astonished at the age range of enthusiasts.
Hope you're well.
